How to rock and roll on a skateboard
About strategy
Rock and roll is a conversion electric scteboard. In rock and roll, your front wheels will go over the face and you will swing the base of your board in the face. Unlike Rocky to Fucky, at Rock and Roll, you’ll return to the ramp with a pivot and your regular foot forward. Rock and roll are considered by many to be easier than rock to fuck, because this trick does not require much commitment or precision to get your wheels back and not hook in the deal. Let’s get into it!
Getting started
There are a few good techniques and exercises to learn before dialing the right rock and roll. First, a backside kickturn is essential. Your kickturn should be dialed completely. Concentrate on turning as much as possible without facing your front wheels, wait a few seconds, and then kickturn backward. Because it is a similar feeling. Next
Next, just hook up your front wheels as you tackle. Once your wheels are hooked, put a little pressure on the tail of your board and kick the back again. The key here is to understand how much pressure you have to put on your tail. You have to deal with it, but want to avoid so much pressure that you fall behind the board. Once this step is dialed, you are really ready to start rock and roll.
Perform jokes
Now that you can cope and come back, you’re very close to the whole rock and roll. Basically, you are letting yourself go because you are comfortable. When learning first, your rear wheels probably won’t leave the ground. All right. Just work to get half the board length above the face, set it at the base, and go back. When you feel comfortable with it, you can finally start learning rock, hence the name of this technique. This is where the strategy begins to become a bit more technical.
Once your board is half-tackled, base on the tackle and continue rocking it until your front or rear wheels are on the ground – you’re swinging at the base. Swing it forward, and then slowly bring the weight back to the tail. As soon as you feel your rear wheels hit the concrete you go back with that backside kickturn. The real difference between actually swinging and pivoting instantly is time.
When you pivot instantly, it feels like a normal backside kick turn. Your rear wheels will never leave the ramp and you are ready to go. When you actually rock, there’s a split second of a confusing balance point where you’re ready to pivot but your wheels aren’t down yet. It may take a while to get used to, but just concentrate on the learning steps and you will dial it in no time. If you think Rock to Fake or Rock and Rolls is easy then leave me a comment! Before I did both of them properly, I thought rock and roll were easy. After learning these correctly, I think rock to fucks are easier and more fun.
Trick tip step by step: Rock ‘n’ roll
1. Proceed towards the quarter pipe at a sufficient speed so that the truck in front of you comes to deal but the truck behind you does not.
2. When the front truck passes over a quarter, you push your front foot to the front of your board to lose weight.
3. When you maintain your balance, turn your shoulders to the front side or back, turning your board as you return to the quarters.
4. At that moment, you lower the weight of your front leg and pull the truck in front of you by pushing the truck behind the quarter pipe, turning with the shoulders and buttocks out of the rock position.
5. Since both trucks are back in transition, balance your weight on board and move forward.
Make sure you don’t lean too far back to avoid moving away.
