Business Description
In 2008, Andrew Wood established his acting studio in Los Angeles with the aim of providing acting classes that conveyed an exceptional acting methodology he was exposed to during his time as an MFA director at the Drama School at Yale. This methodology is rooted in Stanislavsky's work, which forms the foundation of most contemporary acting techniques. The distinctive features of the teaching at Andrew Wood's studio are influenced by the groundbreaking contributions of Yale acting instructors Earle Gister and David Hammond. Evan Yionoulis and Mark Brokaw further refined this methodology into its present, integrated form. Yionoulis, who has served as a leading acting instructor at the Yale School of Drama for over ten years, was also recently named the head of Drama at Juilliard, underscoring the depth and influence of this approach.
