Bates, Roberts, Fowlkes & Jackson Insurance traces its roots back to 1963, when David Bates founded its predecessor firm, Bates Insurance Agency. Since that time, the company has experienced steady growth of ten to twenty percent per year and has acquired several of the oldest and most respected insurance agencies in the Birmingham area. In 2011, veteran insurance executives Tommy Roberts, Sonny Fowlkes, and Ben Jackson joined Bates Insurance Agency, and the name was changed to Bates, Roberts, Fowlkes & Jackson. Our agents are personally invested in strengthening the community by serving the personal and business insurance needs of its residents. Many of our leadership team were born here, educated here, and have chosen to raise their families here. We take our business, and yours, personally.
