The Foundation was founded on January 1, 2000. The permanent address of the Foundation Chairman Md. Giash Uddin Mithu is Sonomari and Due to his long stay in Begumganj from student life and Being involved in various social activities the organization has been named Begumganj-Sonaimuri Shikkha O Sastho Unnayan Foundation, Regi. No. S-7746(936)08, UA/Noak/217/08. Although the organization is named after two upazilas, but the program has the power all over Bangladesh.
