Dr. Berman finished his General Surgery internship and Otolaryngology/ Head & Neck Surgery residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York, and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. His Hand and Microsurgical training was completed at the Kleinert Institute in Louisville.
