Bernard Laboratories is a global company specializing in full turnkey contract manufacturing and packaging services for specialty formulas in a wide range of industries. Boyd Piper, Sr. and Bernard Hains founded Bernard Laboratories on June 6, 1948. The company began filling small glass bottles of perfume and eventually expanded into filling cans and collapsible tubes. Boyd Piper, Sr. purchased Bernard Laboratories in 1960, and in 1962 the company was moved from Camp Washington to the Over the Rhine section of Cincinnati where the company continued to prosper. In 1984, under the leadership of Boyd Piper, Jr. the company moved to the Northside suburb of Cincinnati to offer blending and packaging services to customers throughout the world. Today, Bernard Laboratories is owned by the third generation of the Piper Family, Ryan Piper. Our reputation of delivering competitively priced, high quality products continues to grow.
