Business Description
Cayman Brac is second in size and population of the three Islands, certainly closer to Little Cayman than to Grand Cayman, as it is in proximity. It’s typically called the Brac, named after the bluff (from the Gaelic) which dominates the Island. The Brac is around 90 miles northeast of Grand Cayman (only 30 minutes by plane) and 14 miles east of Little Cayman (10 minutes by plane). The Brac is about 12 miles long and 1.2 miles in width with a population of a little over 2500. Brackers, as the locals are known, express the charm and friendliness of a traditional seafaring community. The imposing limestone bluff that emerges 140 feet above the sea, boasts more than 170 caves and offers nearly 200 part- and full-time resident species of birds including the endangered Brac parrot.
