Business Description
Eileen Barnes’ sister companies Concierge Coaching of Greenville and Compassionate Counseling of Greenville share the same mission: to help clients improve their lives through self-exploration, learning, and growth. Barnes believes in “creating harmony through coaching and counseling.” She’s a counselor with a passion for the LGBT community, marriage counseling, life coaching, and psychotherapy and can practice from a Christian counseling perspective for those interested in those services.
CCGVL strives to provide clients with the services that are right for them; free initial consultations give Eileen the opportunity to assess everyone on a personal level and formulate individualized wellness plans. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Immaculata University in Malvern, Pennsylvania and has undergone extensive training in counseling LGBTQ+ community members.
From a young age, Eileen has filled the role of confidant. In fact, her students’ stories of personal hardship are what ultimately inspired Eileen to leave her career in teaching and become a full-time counselor and life coach. She founded CCGVL on the principles of professionalism and openness. While many new clients fear that counseling will make them look weak or damaged, Eileen assures them that asking for help is both brave and fulfilling.
Life can be difficult. As citizens of today’s society, we face performance pressure, loss, anxiety, change, and trying circumstances. CCGVL offers relief by providing a safe space to process and heal from past wounds through counseling, but it also allows clients to build achievable goals for their futures through encouragement and life-coaching. New client appointments are always available online and you can contact her at anytime with a response in less than 24 hours. She also has the CCGVL blog and social media (Instagram and Facebook) where she shares mindfulness tips, daily inspiration and psychological news articles.
