To reset your HP laptop to factory settings, follow these steps. First, back up all important files, as resetting will delete everything. Then, go to Start, open Settings, and select Update & Security. From the left menu, choose Recovery. Under the Reset this PC option, click Get started. You can choose between Keep my files (which deletes apps but keeps personal files) or Remove everything (completely wipes the laptop). Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the reset. Alternatively, press F11 during startup to enter HP’s recovery menu.
