Born out of Houston Texas in 2003, INSTANT 2290 is the original 2290 e-file provider, and our purpose is simple: improve IRS 2290 filing. INSTANT 2290 was the first company to offer Form 2290 automation to the trucking community, and we’ve remained singularly focused on Form 2290 to this day.

Since e-filing began in 2007, our platform has helped process nearly 3 million Heavy Highway Vehicles. We worked closely with the IRS to build the best 2290 e-file provider software available. INSTANT 2290’s founder, Phil Boyer, even helped the IRS Development Consortium establish its electronic filing program for the 2290 return, shaping how the program works today.
