BACKGROUND
After graduating in 2000 from Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in business management, Mr. Leslie attended Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg, Pa., where he received his Juris Doctor in 2003.
Soon after, he began his career as a defense attorney in York, PA with the law firm of Nealon Gover and Perry, where he worked full time out of the York office. It was in that setting that he developed the professional relationships that endure today and established himself in the legal community.
In 2007, Korey opened his own York law firm named Korey Leslie Attorney-at-Law, LLC specializing in criminal law and family law. In 2018, Korey moved the firm into its current location, where he is more accessible to clients and closer to the York County Judicial Center.
Mr. Leslie strives to stay on top of new laws and changes in the court system by completing continuing legal education classes each year. He is also death penalty certified, allowing him to fight as a Central PA defense attorney for those facing capital punishment.
He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the York County Bar Association, and is an associate member of the Dauphin County Bar Association. He is also a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He serves on the Criminal Justice Act (CJA) Panel for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Leslie is admitted to practice before the Court of Common Pleas of all counties in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. His practice is based in York, PA but he routinely travels to surrounding counties such as Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin and Lancaster as well as regularly representing clients in federal court in the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
In his free time, he works for the community as an elected member of the Fairview Township Board of Supervisors.
