Business Description
As a Jupiter native, I share a unique perspective and kinship with those in our community. I grew up in a Jupiter that had RJ Gator’s, the Log Cabin, and petting zoos run by Burt Reynolds. Starting at Jupiter Elementary and moving to St Mark’s then Jupiter Middle and finally, the last graduating class of the millennium the class of 99 at Jupiter High School, my life, my family, and everything that I care for has always been in the town I love so much. I left to go to college in Orlando a graduate of the University of Central Florida I ended up as a Marketing Director for our locally beloved TooJay’s. While there I was blessed with two wonderful children – Braden and Kenley. Knowing the only place that I wanted to raise my children I brought them here to raise them in the same small town I grew up in. My kids attend the same schools I did, and they play on the same fields I have. I am lucky enough to have been able to give back to the community that gave so much to me by coaching over 30 teams for JTAA totaling over 400 of your children while also taking a stint on the board even running all of recreational soccer. During my tenure, I was able to bring in World Cup and Olympian Tony Meola to head the development of our program. Now I work as a Director for a Business Intelligence program and spend the rest of my time as a single dad caring for my two children, coaching and giving back to the community. Next Steps for Our Town Next Steps for Jupiter Jupiter Community Park was built while I was attending Jupiter Middle and playing for our first ever travel soccer team. We have not built anything since then to deal with the tremendous growth. I will make sure that the facilities we have in Our Town are commensurate with the needs of our families. Summer Camp will no longer sell out in minutes and fields will not be bursting at the seams from lack of focus. Next, as an ardent supporter of the amazing Jupiter Police department – focusing on funding, support, and lauding the many accomplishments of our exceptional police force will be a priority. They will no longer be an afterthought. JTAA has become a disaster and we have lost great leaders and multitudes of families to other areas because of chronic mismanagement. I know this personally as I have coached over 30 teams and close to 450 of our community’s children including stints directing JTAA Soccer and bringing World Cup and Olympian Tony Meola to run the program. I will work tirelessly to make sure our families are given a community-based organization that focuses on families, not personal profit. Those of you that know me know that our beaches and our dog beaches bring me immense joy. In fact, I created the Safe Harbor logo over 30 years ago as a charity project. I will continue to be an ardent supporter of beach access for all of the wonderful owners and dogs I jog by daily. Jupiter High School has 3300 students - way too many. I have a solution to immediately get rid of overcrowding at the school by this fall 2022 Lastly, Indiantown road has become a disaster of traffic and accident. I have a plant to immediately start work on reducing the traffic.
