The Kyle Field stadium was built as a permanent venue in 1927. In October 2014, the stadium saw its highest attendance when 110,633 people gathered to watch Texas A&M lose to the Ole Miss Rebels with a score of 20–35. This game broke the record for the largest football game attendance in the state of Texas and in SEC history.
