Manzel Furniture produces and imports handcrafted furniture made from 100% solid hardwood - no veneer or pressed wood - using traditional woodworking tools. Buy handcrafted, reclaimed furniture online. Our furniture is known for its lively wood grain patterns and natural resistance to the elements. Our furniture is crafted using myriad species of beautifully textured hardwood, including mango, rosewood, acacia, and teak. The painted pieces in our collection are often composed of mango wood farmed by the Indian government, since it absorbs the paint well and leaves a gorgeous color and smooth texture once sanded. We don't paint our rosewood, as it takes much better to a stained finish. All our fresh paints and finishes are created by me, and mixed and applied by hand in our shop.
