Pittsburgh Design & Engineering Services (PittDES) was established to assist home owners, real estate agents, investors, and developers to make their experience buying, selling, remodeling, investing, or flipping smoother by providing them with reliable structural engineering services when it is needed.

We offer structural engineering evaluations of structural members (Joists, beams, columns, and foundations) either verbally or with written reports, and we provide design for any structural modification needed with stamped drawings for permitting i.e. remove a bearing wall and replace with a structural beam (LVL). We also offer design assist services, and engineering review of your construction drawings.
