Tried Sabrosa for the first time a couple of weeks back, and I think we may have found the new neighborhood pizza winner! We called our order in, and the staff couldn't have been nicer in helping to explain the menu to us. We tried a couple of different pizzas and wings, and we really enjoyed everything. Our sausage/olive pizza came by default with a thicker, more doughy crust. While it had some bite, it was still very light and airy with just a touch of crisp on the bottom -- seriously, a perfect bake on it (shoutout GBBS fans). They weren't stingy with the toppings on it either. The cheese was plentiful, as were the sausage and olives, and everything tasted very fresh.
We also ordered the Geary pizza, which was what really affirmed our opinion of Sabrosa. It was so dang good, and also novel from other pizzas we've had before. It came on a thin and crispy crust, and it also didn't skimp on toppings. This one had a bold flavor, a bit tangy (in a good way) from the feta cheese. The garlic and spinach tasted garden fresh, and were a nice balance to the zest of the feta.
