In 1990, Michael Doctoroff, a physicist, adjunct professor, & gadgeteer had an idea to revolutionize the growing office industry. From his basement, he began selling picture frames backed with VELCRO® to hang on fabric walls. He saw the picture frames as a solution to personalize the cubicles where many office workers spent the majority of their waking hours. His mission quickly shifted one fateful day when he received two of his largest orders. Both were from trainers who planned to use the picture frames to distribute training certificates. He then dedicated himself to developing products for corporate trainers. Trainers Warehouse came to life!Today, the woman-owned & operated company (now run by his daughter, Susan) boasts an impressive catalog of 500+ products. Most are “Trainers Exclusives,”—one-of-a-kind tools, developed by Trainers Warehouse to support the active learning techniques embraced by corporate trainers. Even after 30+ years of creating innovative, effective, & fun products for teachers and trainers, President Susan Doctoroff Landay insists:
